Installation Instructions

Optional Embrace Plate installation
NOTE: If Optional Comprehend Plate is not required, meet "UWP Mounting Arrangement installation" on next page.
Apply the Optional Cover Plate when you need to cover paint gaps from the old thermostat.
- Before starting, turn the ability off at the breaker box or switch.
- Mountain the Cover Plate to the wall using any of the 6 screw holes. Insert and tighten the mounting screws supplied with the Cover Plate. Do not overtighten. See Figure 1. Brand certain the Comprehend Plate is level.

• Apply 2x supplied screws (#8 1-1/2" (38 mm) for cherry-red anchors and #half-dozen ane-one/2" (38 mm) for xanthous anchors).
UWP Mounting Arrangement installation
- Before starting, turn the power off at the breaker box or switch. Open package to find the UWP. See Figure i.
- Position the UWP on wall. Level and mark hole positions. See Figure two.
Drill holes at marked positions, and and then lightly tap supplied wall anchors into the wall using a hammer.
‒ If your box contains crimson anchors, drill vii/32" (v.six mm) holes.
‒ If your box contains yellow anchors, drill 3/16" (iv.viii mm) holes. - Pull the door open up and insert the wires through wiring hole of the UWP. See Figure 3.
- Place the UWP over the wall anchors.
Insert and tighten mounting screws supplied with the UWP. Do non overtighten. Tighten until the UWP no longer moves. Close the door. Run into Figure iv.

Thermostat mounting

- Align the UWP with the thermostat, and push gently until the thermostat snaps in place.
- Turn the power on at the billow box or switch.
System operation settings

2. Bicycle through the modes until the required System mode is displayed, and then press Done.
Notation: Available System modes vary past model and organisation settings.
System modes:
‒ Motorcar: Thermostat selects heating or cooling every bit needed.
‒ Heat: Thermostat controls only the heating arrangement.
‒ Absurd: Thermostat controls only the cooling organisation.
‒ Em rut (TH3210U only): For heat pumps with auxiliary heat. Thermostat controls auxiliary oestrus. Compressor is non used.
‒ Off: Heating and cooling organization is off. Fan volition still operate if fan is gear up to On.
NOTE: Heat On/Absurd On may flash for v minutes due to compressor protection.
Fan operation settings
1. Press Carte, and so press the Fan (-) button to bike to the next available Fan mode.

Fan modes:

Installer setup (ISU)
NOTE: The thermostat enters installer setup the first fourth dimension information technology is powered up during installation. To re-enter the Organisation Setup from the Home Screen, printing and hold the Menu button for approximately 5 seconds.
- Select System Setup options.
Press Edit (-) to change values or select from available options. Then printing Next (+) to save changes and advance to the next Organization Setup number.
See "System Setup options" on the next page for a full list of System Setup numbers and options.
Repeat until all of the System Setup options have been fix, and then printing Done. The thermostat will save and exit to the dwelling house screen. - Continue to "Installer setup (ISU)" on folio 6.

NOTE: Once you lot have cycled through all of the System Setup numbers, printing Done to save and exit to the abode screen.
Setup Complete
