Battlefield 2042 will add “up to 64” bots to fill matches, EA says - phillipsmaideared
Battlefield 2042 testament fill its Brobdingnagian 128-player matches with "up to 64" bots, if on that point aren't sufficiency players.
In an interview with The Verge (via VGC), a spokesperson for EA confirmed that it "will be backfilling those servers with bots to keep games populated." Furthermore, the company said that there ISN't a plan to allow players to turn that boast disconnected.
Human players will take priority, and at summit times you may non encounter a single bot. It is worthy pointing out that this is a feature in other online multiplayer games—Star Wars Battlefront, for example. But it hasn't been engaged at quite this scale before.
EA revealed Battlefield 2042 earlier this month, with a sort o puffy pok:
The description reads:
"Field 2042 is a firstly-somebody shooter that marks the retort to the iconic complete warfare of the enfranchisement. Adjust and overcome in a draw near-emerging world transformed by disorder. Team up and bring a fashionable arsenal into dynamically-ever-changing battlegrounds supporting 128 players, unexampled scale, and epos destruction."
Sadly, the new game bequeath non feature a campaign. I was quite partial to the "War Stories" of Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V. They were like short-run stories, biting off itty-bitty chunks of the state of war and chewing them finished in small solo campaigns. Alas, the winds blow toward multiplayer once once again.
Battlefield 2042 is out on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and Personal computer on October 22, 2021.
